If the award is indeed about innovating sound...well...Not saying that you should have won that, i mean c'mon, first of all you are not in the same bucket as those asses , second .. Liam , your sound has deep roots , and a long story , it has innovated countless times before, now it's mature and fundamental and keeps more than one generation plugged. My guess is it's down to the way they released their latest album, they had like 30 songs available and you could pick the tracks you wanted and the tracklisting... meant to be pretty innovative but nobody even knows it out.
