Please can we have the original fire cracker of a banging tune played out at warriors dance festival 2012.
It's one tune I'd love to hear live, after the dub version was a dubbed down track, which kinda threw me in Paris.
The original will cause an crowd eruption so massive it will force Kalemegdan fortress to explode

I agree, they should switch back to the reworked album version they played a couple of times at the start of the IMD era. Sounded so massive live. Got the crowd going mental. Don't get me wrong, I like the dub too. But the original was just as rocking live.

That would be a great addition! They played the original Thunder for the first time the very next show after seeing them in '09. Was kind of bummed about barely missing it. It has to be a banger live. Once they drop more new material I would think they will shake things up a bit so you never know.

Doesn't work live? When they played it at Roseland in NYC, people went insane! The whole crowd was moving to it. Trust me, it worked!

It's one phat track that's barely been played out, which is a massive shame as it has the potential to do some collateral damage on the dance floor !
Come on Prodigy - Liam, Maxim, Keith, Rob, Leo and all the crew - Please get the original Thunder banging out for us

I don't think its a track that works live, besides, we would loose religion link if they putted this one.

How would you know if it works live? Its one of their best tracks >< The religion link could go with loads of tracks. I don't think you appreciate how much of an impact the original has, to say it wouldn't work live is bollocks

I was there when they played a reworked version in NYC... it worked very, very, very well
It's a song where everyone was bouncing and moving about, the whole crowd was shifting and dancing like a giant pit. It was amazing!

As soon as the first notes started, people in the crowd recognized it and started screaming

It most definitely works live and ignites the crowd.

I have seen the US and Glasgow clips and neorev says it worked well, just because it got pulled early to be replaced by the dubbed down version may be because theres too much energy and people need a rest. Thats a real shame. Its a dark heavy melodic hypnotising tune and I reckon the new album will be sounding similar. anyways bedtime

Just because Liam pulled it dont really mean anything
Hes not always in the right, hes known to make wrong decisions
Hes been skimping out on a lot of great tracks from being in the live set
And Thunder had one of the biggest reactions at NYC show

Thats not the point, its 2 different things, in one side you have old tracks that used to be played live but he simply doesn't want to play it, in the other, you have thunder (imd album) which in the middle of the imd tour got in the setlist and didn't last more than a few or 1 (?) gigs, he tested it live and he didn't like, sure if we hear it we'll always like it, but maybe there are better tracks to be played live.

I don't get the lack of it being played out live, rather than re working it , a few tweaks (or none) on the original would have blown any prodigy ant up I do not know why The prodigy, or Liam has gone off on one with Thunder- sorry but I am entitled to my point of view and feel we are ALL missing out with it just sitting on a CD and not being pumped out original live to everybody in the place
