I am perfectly happy to shell out the money to fly from England to Serbia but only if I know for sure whether I'll be let in.

"This event is for over 16's only." Does that mean 17+? or 16+? Technically I'm over 16, but not 17.

Seetickets says "no refunds will be issued for UNDER 16'S" That would almost certainly imply that it was 16+ and not 17+, right?

Please someone help me! I wanna buy my ticket now because WDF '10 was so incredible!
(There's another thought, why isn't it in England every year? Home country and all.)

If you have turned 16 then you are technically 'over' 16 so will be fine.

The Prodigy are a worldwide phenomena.

I phoned Seetickets and they told me it was 17+ which seems incredibly strange.

Firstly, I've never seen a 17+ gig, they're always 16 or 18 and secondly their own website clearly states otherwise.

I'm a mess, seriously, I should really phone the venue but it'd cost alot to phone Serbia (plus I don't speak Serbian.)

What I really want to ease my mind is someone from Serbia who has spoken to the venue.

According to The Prodigy site it should be fine though but I'm not ready to make such a decision without having definitive proof.

I told them what the site says and they just said it was 17+, it was however some very chavvy sounding young woman on the phone so I wasn't really sure what to think of it.

What's actually my main concern now is travel, it's looking like I might not be able to go, can't find a single flight going to serbia and I've been looking for over an hour. They're all sold out.

Buy the ticket, take a print screen of the add saying "16+", and if you don't get in cause of age, sue the promoters for all the money in the world. Or as Sebastian said, get a fake id

Many if not most direct flights to Belgrade have indeed sold out
I booked my return flights from the UK to Belgrade, travelling via Berlin with Lufthansa for the best price. Perhaps there may be similar flights still available

seriously go dude, or you will regret it! the age restriction is a guide and its europe where they are more relaxed anyway. with regards to flights do what i did and get a flight with ebookers where Neilo73 says it will be indirect, but you'll get there and they are pretty cheap. I paid about 150 for a return ticket, the trip is one of a lifetime hope it works out for you man

Just checked my Lufthansa reference email & Im actually travelling via Munich instead and not Berlin.
