I'm sure you'll like that sorta thing, for years he's been trying to do things different adding his own electro/80's feel to various tunes.

Hmmmm, not too sure about that one, I like my D&B hard!

This is the kinda John B I like. I remember getting a free Grooverider - Prototype Years sampler tape with Muzik magazine with this on it. Loving the Hellraiser (& Hellraiser 2) samples. I still have this somewhere.




This is my top D&B tune of the last few years:

ah for once we have a difference of opinion

that sorta stuff I find boring now, reminds me early 2000's around that time when nearly every track was copying 'the nine' or something - it's just same old boring stuff. I'm loving the more uplifting exciting sorta stuff - but obviously this is the joy of how people love different sounds, can't all like the same thing.

John B is doing amazing for himself now, on his facebook he's currently in Miami having hired out a villa on the beach for a month whilst djing there! Posting photos of women bathing next to him on the beach. he plays in Russia seemingly every month - he must be earning some proper £££££££ now. All about the hair and his presence on the stage I think, not taking away anything from his mixing or tunes which are proper decent, but his whole image is a winnning formula for him right now
