Listening right now. Some of the vocals are cheesy as balls but whatchagonnado? Loving the production on it tho. Can't wait to hear the tune with Sub Focus. Heavy reminds me to Thunder Dubstep cuz of the sirens, pretty cool track.

who?

For the record people dudstep, as in dud, sounds like diarrhoea and the original thunder kicked arse compared to the pony dubstep. As much as i love liam, it was the biggest disappointment to think your getting the original phat tune live and he drops a fart!

I know Chase & Status went commercial but it seems to be for the better. No More Idols is banging and its not all one type of music which was the same as Pendulum did with Immersion. As for Dubstep, bass is the favourite part of any tune for me so these tunes are doing for me right now. Also Thunder Dubsteb live at WDF sent shivers down my spine.

Also, just thought I'd note that while I'm not mega into this sorta stuff, and the album in general will probably get less playtime on my stereo, the track Brixton Briefcase has some great atmos. Broken glass, cowbells, sirens and distorted vocals all collide together in a big atmospheric track. Lovin' it.

Another well produced album with plenty of sweet drops and catchy hooks from these boys. Lyrics are so crap though man, could do with an instrumental version of the album for the beat freaks like me. Not keen on 'let you go' a bit too cheesy for me but I love hocus pocus, fire in your eyes, no problem and flashing lights. Looking forward to seeing them in march at the roundhouse in Camden, anyone else going?

It's a shame because Let You Go from a production perspective is such a cool song since it switches between Electro House, Dubstep and Breaks.

So far I'm more or less disappointed with the album. Most annoying thing is that there are no instrumentals at all. 13 out of 15 tracks are featuring some pop/hip hop artist to lay cheesy vocals on it. A couple collabs are at least alright. Dizzee Rascal's flow is pretty good on Heavy, so that doesn't ruin the tune. Blind Faith is very uplifting and the vocals work fine with that, the woman singing in it is awesome (who is she by the way, no credit for the tune?). Best tune of the album is Hocus Pocus. It's the only tune with no studio vocals because it has a sample (or seems like it). Hocus Pocus sounds very raw compared to the rest of the album and I like it. If there only were more tunes on the album with that much balls and proper drum 'n' bass it would've been a decent album. Now it gets boring after a couple listens.

ps. I won't lay my hand on that Hypest Hype track ever again. That is just awful as hell with that Tempa T barking over it, hrr...
