some feedback would be greatly appreciated

It should be soundcloud.com/yourusername

Replacing 'yourusername' with your user name
The link you gave just directs whoever clicked it to their own tracks.

Just listening to first track, it's neat. Reminds me of something but can't think what...what's the vst's/synths used? Sounds very MS-20-ish

I use it too. Regardless of what people say it's an awesome bit of software.

Don't want to bring this thread too off topic but I agree totally about people saying it's crap for no real reason; a DAW is a DAW and they all do the same things, just with different interfaces and workflow. That being said I've finally settled on Cubase as the next DAW to try out.

+1 for Cubase! It's all I use on the software side.

Yeah, been at it all day. My fav artists have used/currently use it so that's something to cling on to. Makes no difference really it's still down to your own skill, but knowing Hans Zimmer and Liam Howlett use/used it feels good.

My eyes are hurting now though, 2 monitors of Cubase the past 13 hours, still barely ankle deep in it Workflow is nice though, very neat

ah, okay. i modified some of them so don't expect the exact same sound if you try and use them. let's see, for the first song i used:
RD_crash
rave lead
nasty
AYC_psnare01
DM-BD 0014
Hat 1-002
crash
713_perc_sh_eLAB
VT_handclap_2
horror bass

I actually own Cubase too but have continued using FL in the main. Really should get on and get to grips with Cubase, by all accounts it's a better sequencer and it's much quicker to carry out lots of the actions that FL Studio makes long for no reason.

Indeed. Am about a quarter into a 4 DVD Cubase tutorial It's bigger and more complex, but I'm hoping it'll pay off. Buut you can ReWire FL through Cubase as a VST, which is great. Not friendly on the computer's RAM, but it's comforting seeing FL load up in there.

Oh really? That would be useful, I like the simplicity of making beats in the step sequencer on FL so could perhaps use it for that but work on other stuff in Cubase.

Having watched that Russian chap on Youtube chop up samples in Ableton to make SMBU and Voodoo Peeps at 100mph I can see how FL is limited. Editing samples in it can be a long & laborious task.

Yeah I think that's the big advantage Ableton advantage over FL, sample editing. Cubase has one too, you just double click a sample to open it up.
I'm just so used to fl, my hands fly over the keyboard with hotkeys like second nature...cubase is...tricky. We've gone way off topic now doesnt really matter though, the thread isn't hurting cos of it
