Hey ya'll, i just signed onto my youtube account to be told that the video i had of Invaders Must Die Re Amped had been removed at the request of the IFPI. Not only did the video have the usual :Copyright recordings, music and lyrics reproduced by kind permission of Take Me To The Hospital / Cooking Vinyl - for original performances by The Prodigy, check-out the official channel at www.youtube.com/prodigychannel., on it, but ive just seen two other videos of the same song still available to view! Why the hell has this happened, i though once you had that notice on your page it was all cool as far as copyright was concerned? Also, why wasnt my other prodigy video, Death Of The Prodigy Dancers (Studio Version), deleted if the IMD one was?

Maybe because it is going to be on an actual future on album release of the band? Dont look at me, I dont know the copyright law that well, but that could explain it. I guess the other videos havent been checked out yet, so I guess its a matter of time till they gonna been taken out of the web ?!

youtube is sucks. they deleted my first account (because I had an interview with Keith Flint that was on motogp site). it's a big place with thousands of copyright organisations that monitor youtube and they don't mind to delete or block account . Fuck'em and their law!

They deleted my video with Serial Thrilla, and another video with Who the Fuk Is Eddy Cochran. The Cochran track is still uploaded by many others...

Of course I did. Serial Thrilla was even a funny Misheard lyrics video I made, many people liked it. It was taken off because WMG owned the copyrights or something. Eddy Cochran was a mystery to me, because it was taken off and the reason was "violating the terms of Youtube" or something. Fuckers.

WMG put their heads up their arses and farted. They took videos off with music they didnt even have copyrights for, it was a big scandal half a year ago or so. Apparently it was a missconfiguration in their bot software, that automatically searches youtube for evil videos. Overall, youtube TOS are ridiculous in the way they are enforced. Last year i even had another users video taken down for 5 hours only because I send youtube an email claiming it violated my rights. It was only put back up because i send another email later asking them to re-enable it. When youtube receives a remove request, the video is taken down no questions asked. Thats just how it works. Your videos only stay online on youtube at the grace of other youtubes users, and there is nothing you can do about it. Its a place with no laws.

I would of said the copyright statement only relates to tracks off the current album and not tracks that were released by Beggars/XL. But saying that YT are a law to themselves.
