is this a live drumming recording done for the tune or is it a break sample, if so where from? it's my fave beat from the whole experience album. Is the faster beat in the 2nd half the same one too?

yeah i love that beat too. the main reason i love Experience is because the beats are so fast and coming at ya at all angles. nowadays they are more slower and don't change much.

Is it just me or do the breaks in Weather Experience sound similar to the ones in Medusa's Path, but in MP they're a little more processed?

i never knew about this being from a Kool & the Gang song.
I thought it was just liam sampled it from Uptown - dope on plastic.
But obviously.. Dope on Plastic sampled it from Kool & the gang originally.

however i still reckon liam just sampled the dope on plastic version..as it is identical..includes the claps etc
