I wonder why most Prodigy fans come from Europe and to some degree America, most notably the former because the Prodigy obviously come from Europe. Probably because Europe is more lenient to that kind of music, more specifically why is the Prodigy sort of big in Eastern Europe. They toured Malaysia but they are obviously and apparently bigger in Eastern Europe, can you explain to me why?

My theory is this;
Primarily, they are biggest in England. Not just because they are from there, but because they were part of a scene that exploded there and have remained in the hearts of the old schoolers...as for the eastern europe, I think it's due to the anarchistic attitude of the band, a real not-give-a-fuck attitude appeals a lot to the youths in countries like Russia and Poland. My Polish friend here in Ireland is the only mate I know who knew who Liam Howlett was without me explaining.

As for the America thing, going from common sense, theory and more or less what's written in Adventures With The Voodoo Crew, they were late to really embrace America. They were miffed at first that the US didn't embrace them and was "too focused on 'scenes'", but now they understand America more and people are digging them good.
