Most bands have lyrics that are easily relatable or understandable. I was wondering if anyone had the problem of trying to understand lyrics for some of their songs. I know i am lost on poison, jericho, full throttle, etc... anybody else need some clarification?

-i think Poison is about taking your brain to state of panic and than divein' it in the rhythm.
-Horns of Jericho is smth in the bible, or not?
-Full Throttle is Luke Skywalker(the original mix)(WeвЂâ„¢re going full throttle) and dunno what is about the powerfull ?????

Jericho is a place near Jerusalem am I right? I suppose some of them are just crazy old sped up rave samples and not supposed to mean anything.

most prodge lyrics are about the energy of live shows. serial thrilla for example is keiths autobiographical description of making the crowd go insane. most of their lyrics are variations of the same theme.

"Crackdown at sundown" (night time) is about the police shutting down the old rave whorehouse parties as is "Fuck `em and their law"

I think some of you look a little too deep into any meanings of lyrics or samples. At the end of the day most hook lines in the tunes are sampled or reproduced from other tracks, eg No Good start the dance was going to be called just start the dance , liam did not intend it to have any vocals on it at all but decided that the kelly charles vocal would fit nicely. Liam has however on many occasion stated that no good is one of the most commercial tracks he ever made and its not one of his favourites. All the prodigy samples are just to add musical content to the tracks and not neccisarily to give any deep and meaningfull notians. The Horns of jericho doesn't mean that we should all read the bible or anything it just sounds good, as does "change my pitch up, smack my bitch up" its just a hook line that fits with the music.
