Thanks, I will get AONO next

Actually like with all their music it get better each time, so I'm liking some of the tracks on FOTL more now. Especially Climbatize.

I just meant in my opinion of the albums I have so far. I'll have another look at what I wrote.

Well, I think that TFOTL is really the strongest, and the best album, they could have done. Coz it bought them to the top. They were not just junkies, but junkies, that rule the world.
My favourite songs are Firestarter, Breathe, Climbatize, Fuel My Fire, Diesel Power. But fuck, I cant stand the idea, that Liam released it because of the pressure from the record company, coz that album is simply superb. And even I love Experience, I can not notice the influence, that the album has done. So I salute the album, with all my heart. Coz you can love it, or can hate it, but you can not notice it.

PRODIGY, YOU RULE THE FAT OF THE LAND.

Music for the Jilted Generation is their strongest album imo. The underground sound like in Break & Enter, Full Throttle and No Good, with unique sounding like in Voodoo People and Speedway/The Heat, my definite all time No.1 Poison - just all songs have so much variety.
FotL is mostly about fast beats and raw energy, although there are such masterpieces like Narayan and Climbatize. Not that there is anything bad in this, I had a period when I was crazy about FotL, I was listening *only* this album.

I definatley agree Luo, MFTJG is one of my favourite albums, along with experience expanded. Break & Enter, The heat, Speedway, Full Throttle, Narchotic suite-all amazing.

Bought AONO yesterday! Still good, but doesn't have the energy of their early stuff, which I'm now realising I prefer. I just mean it doesn't get me wanting to dance like MFTJG and experience. Do you know what I mean? Sure I've heard You'll be under my wheels on a TV advert.

I think I have all their albums now, apart from Liams back to mine, but is that of his favourite tracks? Oh and I need to the double CD of their law. Does anyone have any recommendations what to get next, stuf like their early music/on the singles rather than the albums.

Liam's back to mine was shit

I'd say 95.784% of people here have the same opinion. You'll be under my wheels was pimped out to BMW for some of their adverts.

If you can get hold of "selected mixes for the jilted generation" it's very good Rat Poison and Scienide - was only released in Japan. A bit different anyway.

And if you don't have the 2 CD "Their Law" yet, it has some gems on it.

And to save the big man some trouble, check Arie's site - it has far too much info and a fantastic tracklisting.

If you have all the albums, next, get the singles as you obviously get remixes and b sides etc. With all the 'hype' from the tour last year gone, you should be able to pick a few bargains up from amazon or ebay.

Also keep a look out for the demo tape if it ever gets put on site.

Is it just me or does anyone else think this is not actually one of their strongest albums? I suppose with me being into a lot of their earlier stuf, and listening to experience expanded so much, listening to this is quite dissapointing.

I mean songs 1, 2 and 8 I have on other albums. Someone said Climbatize is similar to the Narchotic suite, I don't think it is as good, but it is probably the best one that is on Fat of the land. I liked the start of Diesel power and then the singing kicked in. Not so good after all. Funky shit is ok, the ending sounds similar to the ending of speedway, where it fades between the ears. I like that, when listening to the prodigy, you sort of recognise bits similar to other ones. Then a few of the others are ok, but none which really moved me like the ones on the other albums I have.

Well, it's not going to stop me in my mission to buy everthing they have done, and I'll probably only listen to it if I'm in an angry mood, as it is an angry album I would say. I realise they had to change their style to survive, but I hope what they are working on at the moment will be better.

Edit: Actually after listening to it a few times it is growing on me (not literally ha ha) MFTJG is amazing though, break and enter is incredible. All of them on that album are.

there are only 4 good tracks on that album. the rest sound shit when not being played live.
