Of course, you can do that. That's where these fan mixes came from.
But it's still not getting the full track. There's talking over half of it.
And like i said, no one has been able to replicate the extra part during when they are talking when Liam halves the riff. This part isn't even in the live versions. Just in this video clip.
I want the real thing. Too bad they scrapped the Thunder single because this probably would have been on it with the many remixes that came out around the time of the Invaders Re-Amped.
Like I said, they have a Soundcloud page that they are just wasting away.
Wanna keep traffic going to your site, make a page for demos and stuff.
Forget the 99 Problems and Foos remixes, I rather have Thunder Dub.
Just simple things like uploading a track here and there would help keep fans happy and at ease while awaiting the new album. It's really not that difficult.
But then again, look how long it took to get a studio version of Death Of The Prodigy Dancers for christ's sake. And Liam only uploaded their old demo tape because someone was trying to sell it. And they didn't even do that right either. It's never, here's a download. It's always embedded and you gotta figure a way to rip it in shitty quality.
How about when Liam gave us Spacehopper and Who The Fuck Is Eddie Cochran.
How about those extra IMD demos they played on Zane Lowe.
Instead of wasting it and just playing it on the radio, stuff like that should be on their Soundcloud page in a "from the vault" or "from the scrap pile" section.
I wish they would do more stuff like this.
I'm sure Liam has tons of stuff, even if it's a minute or two of something.
I'm sure every fan would love to hear more stuff like this.
But as a Prodigy fan for so many years, my hope for stuff like this has dwindled.
So many good demos and ideas just wasted and thrown away for no one to hear.
Simply because it's not the next big thing. Who cares?
I find it quite sad. Sure, it's not album worthy.
But give it to your fans who are dying to hear each and everything you come up with.
Dare I say it... No Souvenirs.
I felt that was the biggest middle finger to their fans ever, especially after cockteasing us about in their official biography book. Even if it didn't make it on to an album, it should have been uploaded for us.
For fuck's sake, instead of being lazy and reusing Ghost Town on a charity compilation multiple times...
Throw No Souvenirs on one! That would have made even more cash for that charity.
Tons of us fans would have given our hard earned cash over for something like that.
AND IT WOULD HAVE GONE TO CHARITY.
My last hope is that Liam is saving all this up for when The Prodigy officially decide to retire and put out a collection of rarities, demos, alt mixes, and cut tracks. But most likey, knowing them, this is not gonna happen. And that will be an even bigger middle finger to us dedicated fans dropping our cash to see them live and purchasing each and every release, some times multiple versions of releases, just so we can collect every track and remix we can get our hands on...
because that's how hardcore and dedicated we are.
We just wanna experience the music.
I hope the boys read this thread.
This is just about fans wanting to hear the music... whether its album worthy or not.
It doesn't have to be groundbreaking or some next big thing.
Maybe Liam didn't find them special, but for us, there was something great in there that makes us dying to hear Trigger, Nuclear, Dead Ken Beats, Gabba, Wake Up Call (Full Vocal), Warning (Full Vocal), Vogue, We Do What The Fuck We Want, and etc. etc. etc.
The list goes on.
We just wanna hear the beats, it's what makes us dedicated fans.
