Have we really come to the conclusion that his Virus or whatever isn't even hooked up? I mean, who am I to say having never been to a gig but really, does that seem like something plausible?

heh, no
It's hooked up...but a few times it hasn't been. I guess he changes his methods gig to gig

I've questioned what he is really up to on stage on a few occasions so i was really pleased when i watched WOF last week and saw him going crazy on his virus and actualy hear what he was doing! There was so wicked close up's of him doing his thing and i felt it showed that he is doing a lot more than i first thought

Yes he relies a lot more on his Apple Macs & his Alberton programmes but if that increases the sound and makes the tunes sound more kick arse in a live setting whilst he plays over the top of some stuff, triggers sections & samples off & plays a few bits live here and there then im all for it. Very rarely will you find any artist whether its electro, rock or just a DJ refuse to use up to date technology to make it sound that bit more intense and also make their lives that little bit more easier.

I would love it if Liam & Duggers made a short film where Liam gives us an insight in to what he's up to and give us all a demonstration

- I'd like to know what's the point of having a drummer on stage? Unless I'm really mishearing but all I ever hear in person or recorded is a few cymbals on the quieter parts, a couple of little drums between tracks - hitting drums which you cannot hear, it just adds nothing on beats electronically produced anyway. Anyone can do that. So - number 1 the drummer, only for show or what?

- I hate to say it really as it's selfish I know, but I hate the fact how the whole world knows about The Prodigy and how 'available' they are as a 'band'. Like thousands of others I got into them back in 91 (obviously hence username) - and loved everything about them when few knew or cared. Was a wicked raving era, anyway sorry I know it's a selfish reason I know

- Same sets played live way too many times, and a major dissapointment to find that Charly remix at Milton Keynes was not actually on the blu ray got this week. A blu ray with tonnes of available space and the track was still cut from the finished product. Very limited I personally felt, especially a blu ray not holding anywhere near as much data as it could.

That's all I can think of at the moment

Nail on the fucking head.
Doesn't he himself question it, or at least feel fucking stupid? Same goes for guitarist too actually, he only (gets to) add bits here and there, it's useless.
I guess they want to appear more like a band...even if most laymen think the drums are by the drummer.
Amount of youtube comments I've read on random prodigy music vids saying that the drummer needs more credit. =[

Ha-ha, haven't heard from you for time man, and you appear and say everything that I also think. Maybe it's a snobby oldskool thing, of which I know we are both fully aware and don't give a f@ck about
Also, bit fed up of guitarists parading around doing clichéd jumps off of speakers like a rock star etc.
Totally agree with all that you said. Nice to see you again bro

A lovely thank you to Mr. W 30, James Jupiter the 8th, Mrs. 303, Mr. 909, and especially Monsieur Akai 1100 (The Earthbound Crew)

hehe hello mate thanks, yeah I don't get Rob the Guitarist either - I mean I'm sure both he and the drummer who I had to lookup who the hell he was ........ Leo.........are both very good at what they do, but yeah like Martin also mentions, surely they themselves must think what input am I really having here on tunes electronically produced by Liam - I especially think WTF when I see them both druming and strumming to things like breathe, no good, or massive lol when Charly starts playing......did anyone see a drummer and guitarist back at Amnesia in 1992 with smilee face t-shirts and white hats? lol - it's obviously of course purely for show as "a band", I had to question myself thinking am I really missing something that nobody has already questioned this?!

One small little thing I think of when seeing them play live or watching youtube vids in detail, Liam as good as he is of course in the studio, when he starts playing on the keyboards adding little touches, the keys like someone already mentioned (sorry can't browse up on my phone at moment for some reason) - the keys he plays are nearly always way off key. I mean it's understandable again refferring to 1992 when they were doing live pa's at raves in warehouse venues, and Liam playing the keyboard on YOUR LOVE was all over the place, but 19 years on you'd think he'd be a bit more spot on - this is massively picky as like so many I highly praise the man for everything he's done, but come on man if playing keys live at least get them sounding right without notes being mishit

Your Love at Amnesia

I'd absolutely LOVE it if he did a lot more live input as he did those days, the keys are off in places, but still sounds wicked.

Liam produces the best music in the world, but I think he still isn't that much of a keyboard player?
I sometimes get annoyed by it a little, too.

of course remember being in the studio using software anyone can setup a riff sounding spot on, using cubase I used to record a riff on my piano live, any keys out of place you can just move into the correct position in a click.

Yep, that's right. I don't know jack shit about what key makes what note but sure I can lay down some riffs on FL Studios or some other software. But even I can do some basic jamming to a tune without many mishits. Funny he does so much "beginners mistakes" live with so many years of experience.

Be nice to know what the band thought about stuff, to be able to interview them from this side. See what they really thought, how it all works on a day to day level and how the new album is doing.... any Uk gigs please????? Basically a bit of word would be nice to see how its all going, but because we are all online its hard to be patient. chompin at the bit for a decent rave cos there's such shit everywhere else unless someone else can do anything half as good It's just the waiting I guess, better than any drug is seeing the prodigy for me. I am needing a fix ! Just wish liam would drop the original thunder anyways It's hard to really know what's going on cos we are on the outside, there are only a privileged few that know the score. I don't want to bitch too much (just didn't like thunder dub sorry, it wasn't a dance track like the original which was fuckin awesome) just requesting a tune, few new gigs and bring on the album when its ready Love and Respect

Who did decide though? ... And why ? Really weird to leave the main title tune, and not include the rest of cut out songs edits and put them on the DvD either. Words are needed from HQ - NIvAg please ask

No way thats BS, thats not gonna happen. and its not fair play either way its taking the piss on us all. No word is just plain off key, don't people have reasons and manners above all to explain the edits......

An EP...of 6 live versions of already released tracks. Seems a bit retarded, specially since they're missing from a DVD, we want footage too godamnit.
I'm hoping someone is sorting out licensing issues and are gonna re-release with the extra tracks one day. WOF, Poison (with fill) and Diesel Power is all I want.
