What do you think of the Prodigy of today compared with the prodigy of 91.Have they had to change as times gone on?

Is that a rhetorical question?

A lovely thank you to Mr. W 30, James Jupiter the 8th, Mrs. 303, Mr. 909, and especially Monsieur Akai 1100 (The Earthbound Crew)

Yes they had to change to keep getting new fans and avoid being some retro band. At the moment they seem to be going through a huge change again with this new dubstep direction. I'm not really into dubstep but trust them to pull it off and adapt it into their own unique sound, like they have with other styles in the past.
I listen to different eras of The Prodigy depending on my mood, but loving the '91 demos lately. I love the fact that IMD wasn't repetitive at all compared to their other albums, its the only thing that they could have been criticised for previously.

Much as I love IMD, I find all the tracks a bit too ready for the singles market, i.e. only about 3-4 mins long.
Some of the tracks could have been drawn out longer, longer builds, longer breakdowns etc. Jilted was perfection with the track lengths, especially No Good. I never listen to the edit.
Glad Liam is feeling the dubstep vibe, hope he also does a bit more in the D&B vein. Like Comanche, not Pendulum.
