Ah.

I did not like AONO alot, but the best track, well the best TRACKS(love them as much):

Girls, Spitfire, Youll be under my wheels(sax track when your high), and ofcourse Who U Foolin(Sounds like FOTL).

The rest.. bah. Shoot Down would have been nice if Maxim sang instead, Get up Get off doesnt even sound like a Prodigy track, it sucks, Liam should have dumped this crap track and give us No Souvernirs, and Wake up Call. Why in the * gods name did he REMOVE the vocals?

Sorry for my bad english.

voted for The Way It Is. didn't fancy it much when the record was released, but sort of discoverd it later on, brilliant!

every time someone mentions the tracks on Aono, the live Action Radar fill comes to mind. could've been SUCH a powerful track if Liam had decided to make one out of that fill. don't really dig the album version

This album is real proof that the prodigy we know and love has always been Liam + Keith + Maxim + Leeroy. They really vibe off each-other's energy and it really shows how Liam was influenced by them for the other 4 albums, with the exception of Leeroy for the 5th. I consider AONO Liam's solo album, it's good but it doesn't have that Prodigy vibe about it.

Spitfire really stands out but I also like Get Up Get Off every now and then.

Guess it depepnds what Prodigy vibe you're in tune with most. I prefer AONO to stuff like FS, Breathe, Fuel My Fire, Colours, Piranha etc. I just don't like Keith singing, so luckily he only does it on a few tracks.
I don't think Jilted was written with anyone in mind except Liam (except Posion obviously) and that is my favourite album ever, by any artist. Still blows me away from start to finish all these years later, and stills sounds like someone from the future came back with a CD of things to come. AONO sounded unfinished in places, as well as relying a bit to much on crap vocals of nobodys. Those were the only 2 things that let it down in my opinion. I love Spitfire, it just doesn't really have any direction in my view. Also, the fact that when it was released as a single it suddenly had Maxim and Keith singing on it seemed a bit rubbish to me, purely done to try and get people who liked FS and Breathe to get into AONO. Just my opinion.

A lovely thank you to Mr. W 30, James Jupiter the 8th, Mrs. 303, Mr. 909, and especially Monsieur Akai 1100 (The Earthbound Crew)

The thing is, while Liam was the only one writing and producing the albums, the others were always there. They were still doing shows together and snowboarding and all that shit, and thats how he gets his inspiration. They're known for really feeding off each others' creative energy. It seems to me like he sort of locked himself in his basement for AONO. I also remember reading an interview about it and he said the only person he wrote the album for was himself (which I respect). Not that's it's a bad album, it's just my least favorite by far.

If they'd drop this version of Wake Up Call in the middle of a gig it would be mindblowing

Wake Up Call is perhaps one of the best tracks from AONO. Its just so mean track. I don't like Get Up Get Off, Phoenix, You'll Be Under My Wheels and Shoot Down, but the rest is good.
