BABYS GOT SOME DODGY LYRICS

You can hear them comin' from a mile off
Once again some dodgy lyrics
Its gonna be cheesy as fuck yeah
Just like a block of stilton (this aint no fuckin song)
I'm givin' this song a funeral
Its terrible, can you hear me?

We wrote this fuckin song
This fuckin rubbish song
We crucified the song
Fuck sake forget it all.

This songs a fuckin' shambles.
This songs a fuckin' shambles

I think that's class.

You could front a Keith spoof band with lryics like that

Seriously, Keith should put more effort into his lyrics in the tracks he sings on. Run with the Wolves is alright, I don't know why TMTTH lryics just don't have the same impact as the music behind it is brilliant.

And The Flintigy are born!

Keith's vocals are the best, anyone who says anything else is a fucking idiot.
All of my favorite Prodigy songs have keith's vocals.
Namely
Baby's got a temper
firestarter
serial thrilla
take me to the hospital
run with the wolves
breathe

However there are also some of my favorites that have little or no vocals.
Wake the fuck up, smack my bitch up, voodoo people and funky shit for example.

I notice most of the tracks you mentioned came after Jilted. Do you prefer Fat ahead of Jilted?

To answer that question, i love both albums so if i had to choose one i'd have a tough choice . Note that i said starrman wrote:

Means i have more favorites no good (start the dance), their law, claustrophobic sting, and one love .
So i guess my opinion is that they make great music with or without Keith's vocals. (Still i fuckin love him)

I would also like to apologize for that, i had a really bad day and i also am a hardcore Flinty fan, so basically i was just in a bad mood and defending my idol. hardcore wrote:

as for this , finally someone agrees with me , Baby's got a temper is one of their greatest songs.

No problem starrman!! I'm a huge Flint fan too! Prodigy wouldnt be Prodigy without him! Sometimes the lyrics are just a bit much! As for Keith on stage, AMAZING!! The energy, the passion! Unreal! Same goes for Maxim! Getting back to a suggestion I made earlier, Liam could certainly use Flints vocals but in a less prominent capacity! Babys Got a Temper is a good 'tune' but lyrically overpowering! I think Colours fits him better vocally, as does the likes of Breathe! Thats my opinion anyway!

To be honest, if you worked out the percentage of tracks Keith "sings" on compared to the total number of Prodigy tracks that exist, it would be a very small percentage. However, I would be happiest if it was 0%. Same with Maxim, he was cool for Poison and good live, but I prefer any vocal on a Prodigy track to be a sample, and a small one at that. That was the genius of the tracks throughout the "Jilted" era, it was the music that did the talking back then.

i agree, a 12 track album should be composed by like 3 or 4 vocals and the rest leave it to liam (but it has to be better than aono, it has to be like jilted or experience...)

I'm still trying to track this album down.

http://www.prodigyunion.com/#/rarities- ... 4533835600

I've got the Instumental of "Omen" on my promo CD and "TMTTH" will be available as WAV download from Juno.co.uk on 31st August (and on another CD I'll have to buy I expect).
"Piranha" and "Run WIth The Wolves" are more to my taste as instrumentals. Even "Colours" is bareable.

All I know for sure is that myself and everyone I knew who was into the Prodigy before Firestarter (yes I mention FS a lot, but if you haven't figured out thats because it was Keefs vocal debut and a huge change in the Prodigys history then that's your fault) thinks anything with Keef would be better without him, that he is detremental to the track. Some even stopped being fans because they found it so awful. After hearing Serial Thriller and Fuel My Fire I was almost tempted too. All I can say is THANK GOD Smack My Bitch Up was the first track on FOTL.
Everyone I know who loves Keef singing were not into the Prodigy before FS, so never experienced the horror of suddenly hearing someone, especially Keef, singing over a Prodigy track for the first time. 99% of these people being "haters," to use a chav term, of those of us who were fans during the Experience & Jitled eras.
Make of that what you will, but it's a fact none the less.

Things aren't fact because you post them in a forum...

I loved Keith's dancing and actual presence in Everybody in the place, Charly etc...

He was quite a defining feature of the band in some early raves in such are Raindance the 90's...

Best Flinty voice I heard was on Firestarter. And may I try to explain why hehe. Well, I believe that the track itself just flows with his personality, vibe, everything. It feels natural, a feature that good/great songs must have. But, of course, that's my opinion. And everyone is free to feel whatever .
About the worst....well, worse is too much said, but personally I don't get Colours that much. It's more of an experimental pop song with guitar .

And one thing is clear for all (I hope): Prodigy wouldn't be who they are now if it weren't for every contribution. As a band, you cannot go on a continuous road of success, but also have your casual downs. It happens. (so shut up about 0% Flinty , hehe)

Shut up? How about no? You probably knew no different than Keith singing anyway so your opinion is void to me on this particular matter. Call me arrogant, but the only people who I think can comment on the changes Keith brought to The Prodigy when he started singing are those people who were listening to them, supporting them, going to live gigs etc in the days before Firestarter. While I don't consider myself anymore of a fan because I've been into them since day 1, I do think that what I say is relevent and I won't be told otherwise, especially not by an 18 year old student from the asshole end of Europe who probably only got into the Prodigy when they heard Firestarter.

I'm a Prodigy fan since out of space...
I like the way they've take from jilted to invaders...
I agree that some tracks probably sound better without Keith; for sure Liam is musically a god when he's not too lazy!
But if The Prodigy is The Prodigy,it's because they are a band...
Keith is indispensable for Liam, like Maxim is...
That's why they do Invaders must die,if I'm right...because a lot of idiot was saying that Liam should be better without Flint...catastrophic for the band...and I don't want to wait 5 years before a new album!
So,The band is Liam,Keith and Maxim! Nothin'else.

But ok,sometimes, the instrumental version of some track should be better....
Perfection don't exist!

damn wayneb that is getting tiring... all there is to read on this forum now is how people who were too fucking young to follow the prodigy from day 1 and people who like firestarter or don't agree with you are pricks. man it's cool you were able to attend the gigs back then, i wish i could have, but i was like 1 when prodigy was formed and 6 when firestarter came around so i couldn't give a fuck. hearing breathe when i was older got me instantly hooked and i thought keith was the coolest dude in the world. after buying the albums etc i discovered there's SO much more into them than i thought first. now i see myself listening mosty to experience, jilted and invaders must die as albums and think liam is a far better genious than mozart. people aren't "true" fans because they discover prodigy through fat of the land/firestarter/a keith's track? well i did and i consider myself a fan (whatever a TRUE or a REAL fan supposed to mean)
