Just listened to Jay cunnings show on kiss fm from last night, Liam says Omen will be the first single in February. I wonder does he mean second single? what with IMD and all. Is there an actual release date for IMD?

its probably because everyone is disapointed by invaders must die. ive read 4 different online reviews of the entire album and it seems to me that every song is amazing except for the title track......who knows....invaders must die doesnt sound like a single anyway...its more of an intro to the album i think

^^that's what i was thinking too. you have to put it into context.
when the album finally hits the market people will go "aah! now i get it!".

i'll bet that omen is a deeper tune. for contrast's sake.

I agree with Nekrobot. I remember years ago when i heard their law for the first time - i wanted to riot! It set the tone perfectly for the album. Then when they appeared on 'board stupid' before FOTL was released, they played Firestarter as a taster of what the album would sound like. The hairs on my neck literally stood up. I think they're doing the same thing here. IMD is the album opener just like SMBU was. It will all make sense. And anyway, if its not to your taste and the album is strong as everyone says it is ...everything will be cool.

The interview with Liam isnt that long but still worth a listen. I won't spoil it for you but he also says what the 2nd single is likely to be.
