dont want to decide wich record is better .... hells kitchen is a raw tune - i love diz shit really - so " backward bullet" is one of my all time fav. songs ever. fallen angel is much more melodic - more popular - maybe to reach other guys than prodigyfans it is a completely different record .okay- some songs are lame ('fallen angel' is crewl), other songs are very cool - i dont care is one of them.
sure - my web is the best maxim ever made, but there are some very nice moments on fallen angel , so i would say - i love both records. one day i love the hell's kitchen , later the fallen angel record. i wouldn't say that hells kitchen or fallen angel are one of the best records i ever heard - no way man - but both records are cool and still part of my playlists...
I'll eat a fridge if not.
I read an interview with Maxim when i lived in uk... Think it was FutureMusic. Long time ago.
And i think he said something regarding this... cant remeber. Maybe someones still got that mag?
Anyway, liam helped or even build the bass for him on Sceaming ... says it all i think.
I'm pretty sure that he took him by the hand and showed which knobs to touch... (no pun intended)
sure - liam showed maxim a couple of things, how to make music, but i don't think so, that liam helped maxim to produce hells kitchen or fallen angel. both records are to different for this. there are no prodigy-vibe inside. all stuff liam made, have this vibe - but maxims records sound totally different. yes - liam helped him to make a cool bassline in scheming - all people can hear it. there is a kind of prodigysound behind. but the rest - no i don't think that liam was involved..... in my opinion. and for last -why they should do this ? it wouldn't be cool and good if maxim , as a member of "the prodigy" needs help by the band to force his own project. so you can't get a serious soloproject .
When I heart that Hells Kitchen wasnt selling very good I was kinda suprised, its a very good album. Fallen Angel does follow another path with more lyrics then hard beats, which makes it also good (but promotion of the album wasnt that swell)... The way I see it, maxims albums are really underrated.
