I hear a Drum & Bass beat.
Along with a bass suitable for the same genre.

Sorry. But no - there is a distinct difference to
the style of sound of the early Prodigy,
compared to style of this track
in terms of beat and bass.

It's darker. And less broken.
The drums simply roll.

The only thing that keeps the vibe light (in contrast),
is the choice of vocal sample (which by the way is a classic),
and used in many tracks in the past.


Good track. But it's not Breakbeat.
It is Drum and Bass, with uplifting vocals.

Those who knew Happy Hardcore between 1993-1996
will be able to relate to the sound,
and understand the difference...
An era that Drum and Bass evolved from,
and formed a darker genre of music.

I think it sounds breakbeat from the early breaks back in the 1989-92 era......but to be honest until I hear a proper clear recording I cant be sure

i have no idea what genre warrior's dance is..but the beat is certainlty not dnb.

to be honest..dnb is just a fluffy word they made up so you could easily define your collection of 150bpm (approx) dance music.

no one has ever been able to define prodigy's genre.

agree with afro and about prodigys genre, i cant repeat myself enough that the prodge created their own, so if someone is still looking to "define" the prodge sound then will be fruitless (or come up with something stupid). Anyway, if you think theprodigy11 that warriors dance has hard beats, I dare you to listen to worlds on fire (live of course)... there ull hear some nice (none happy) hardcore techno samples and beats that will blow ur mind! Then not to mention mescaline which rocks, but liam taking out some samples makes the whole thing a little bit going to the wrong direction. Anyway, thats my 2 Cents lol.

Heard it full and clear on the shows Afrotweeks, and posting youtube links here, i think we'll be repeating ourselfs. BUT, I hope that makes u even more excited for the show ur going , trust me - maybe "worlds on fire" sounds lame as a name, and after every second track of the prodge has the word fire or something similar of arsoning to it, I can tell you that for all the oldskool lovers, it will blow ur mind, this is the shit !

can't really put a finger on it cause i haven't heard all the new tracks properly, but mescaline sounds the hardest so far.

which vocals did Liam cut out of the track? the one in the beginning "this is it!" etc ? that rocked

nah i watched every link posted here after the club gigs..and i still have not seen a good version of worlds on fire.

i'll definitely keep an ear out for it next month though
