TOPIC: Creamfields

Creamfields 6 years, 10 months ago #6795

Just wondering is Creamfields the only gig they are playing this year or next year?

I'm desperate to go, not bothered about the money, just got to find someone to go with.

I mean when do the tickets (including coach ones) normally sell out by?

It was said that Creamfields would be their last gig this year although I`m hoping for the usual December gigs at Brixton.

Prodigy surprises to be revealed at Creamfields
August 09, 2006

Get set for some surprises from the Prodigy at this yearвЂâ„¢s Creamfields. The band, who have been at the forefront of the dance music scene since 1990, are set to headline at the 40,000 festival this August Bank Holiday.

In an exclusive interview, Liam Howlett, told Galaxy Radio, “ItвЂâ„¢s not going to be a greatest hits set but this is the last UK gig weвЂâ„¢re doing this year before people hear the brand new record next summer. ItвЂâ„¢s a very important gig so there might be a few surprises.”

Currently working in the studio on the new album, he added, “WeвЂâ„¢ve done 20 ideas so far. IвЂâ„¢ll do 30, stop there and then look at the best ones and work them up. WeвЂâ„¢re really excited about it. ItвЂâ„¢s going to be us back on form for sure as a band. None of the old tunes are as good as the new record.”

Galaxy is the official radio partner of Creamfields which takes place in Daresbury Estate, Cheshire. The network will be live from the event broadcasting sets from the festivalвЂâ„¢s headline live acts and DJs. All this as well as backstage gossip and the breaking news as it happens. Gutted...got no one to go to Creamfields with.

Pity there's not another gig till next year but I will do everything in my power to get to the next UK one. I only started buying the music since June this year so I missed their last tour as the Nottingham one would've been very handy.

I suppose you could go near the event to listen to the other side, have you own little rave.

As long as they do another gig next year I'm happy, I don't think they are likely to end their career if they are working on a new album.

We'll look out for your raving crew then.

Found out that my brother's girlfriend has been given job on security so don't know how that could benefit us in anyway yet

Bleh apparantly the Prodigy are rumbling the main stage between 9:45PM and 11:00 PM

THAT'S A FUCKING LONG TIME TO STAY SOBER ENOUGH TO VIDEO IT

the other 3 headline acts seem to only have 1 hour sets and that gnarls shit is only on for 45 mins.

Plus with nobody to follow - they might give us a little extra

It's best that they're the last main stage act.

I'll already be wired off my face by 9:45 I'm sure. Doubt I'll be able to hold a camera never mind focusing it on the stage

What you'd need to meet them would be VIP tickets won from radio 1 chart show last Sunday.

The one day I don't listen to any of it and they give away VIP tickets to Creamfields.
