Prodigy surprises to be revealed at Creamfields
August 09, 2006
Get set for some surprises from the Prodigy at this yearвЂâ„¢s Creamfields. The band, who have been at the forefront of the dance music scene since 1990, are set to headline at the 40,000 festival this August Bank Holiday.
In an exclusive interview, Liam Howlett, told Galaxy Radio, “ItвЂâ„¢s not going to be a greatest hits set but this is the last UK gig weвЂâ„¢re doing this year before people hear the brand new record next summer. ItвЂâ„¢s a very important gig so there might be a few surprises.”
Currently working in the studio on the new album, he added, “WeвЂâ„¢ve done 20 ideas so far. IвЂâ„¢ll do 30, stop there and then look at the best ones and work them up. WeвЂâ„¢re really excited about it. ItвЂâ„¢s going to be us back on form for sure as a band. None of the old tunes are as good as the new record.”
Galaxy is the official radio partner of Creamfields which takes place in Daresbury Estate, Cheshire. The network will be live from the event broadcasting sets from the festivalвЂâ„¢s headline live acts and DJs. All this as well as backstage gossip and the breaking news as it happens.
