Well you know what to do next time then dont you? Dont book a band that will chew your festival up and spit it back in your face with such force you dont know what the fuck is happening. All you moaning fuckers saying that they took the buzz out of the love vibe by putting the barriers up can do one. The band and its management had your fucking best interests at heart and gave your safety the priority it clearly needed. OMFG they didnt say goodbye!!! They fucking turned up and blew you a fucking away and your complaining about them not taking a bow and blowing kisses at you! Its The Prodigy not fucking Take That! You'll be lucky if the boys bother with your sorry little asses again. Now fuck off and go to see Pendulum.

As I said earlier, my mates enjoyed the gig. I think it was fucking AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think there's anything to moan about. The Woodstock manager signed the contract so he shouldn't have moaned about the barriers.

Again, I think the gig was brilliant! Didn't see one person who wouldn't jump with me while they were playing. That's why I don't understand all these negative comments. Don't listen to these twats !

I'm still waiting to here what the band members themselves have to say about this nonsense. Just because nothing bad has happened before at Woodstock doesn't mean that nothing would've happened when Prodigy played. I mean common. They're a dance act. They bring crowd craziness. I'm sure everyone here remembers this video. I think it says it all with what the crowd can become.

yes, but Jurek Owsiak thought that when crew of Prodigy, who arrived day before concert, change opinion and concert will be without barriers

there were 700 000 people. I don't think people would've left the space between the crowd and the stage. The people at the front would have been pushed by the crowd behind them. There were just too many people to play the concert without the barriers

"Pay close attention"..... SAFETY BARRIERS

Having read the statement it's clear management wanted and pre agreed with promoter to safety barriers. The negative feedback is fucking disrespectful and shows no understanding why we need safety at festivals and gigs It could have been a tragedy..... seriously, take a step back you stupid fuckers or someone will get crushed and die.

of course...
some guy, next my friend, had epilepsy something like that... I don`t know how Peaceful Patrol would be supposed to take out of the crowd without barriers. People on stage saw everyone who needed help:)
I know that close stage are less and less people, but there people are sitting, sleeping and so on and there is no place to feel careful. The lack of barriers functioned so far but Woodstock has never seen so many people before!

I saw one of these incidents. That was just before TMTTH. We heard someone shouting "let us pass" and in 1 second there was tunel made in middle of the crowd allowing a quad to get there. Interestingly noone came after (looks like he was helped without being moved) and the tunnel/passage was left untouched for half of the song (yes, in the middle of the song!) because people take care of eachother there. Also, Peaceful Patrol (and it's medical branch) was mixed with crowd so they could react faster. And on the top of that, medical patrol was running past me once with strecher - people instantly got out of their way. Do you understand now how they are working without front barrier? The same way!

ok, but I still do not understand what was wrong WITH barriers... Owsiak agreed on the event WITH barriers. He could think! He agreed on it, so what? Organiser festival was making ironic remarks. He cannot admit to his fault! Where were his "Love and Friendship"? What did he want to show? Something like, fall down on knees because you are (I mean Prodigy) playing on Woodstock.
I like Jurek and I support his Foundation, and I will, but it is not for the first time when he made the mess... too bad:(

The hardest dance rock fusion and 600 thousand people = Danger! The safety barriers were to protect, you can't really predict a tragedy, you can prevent it better with safety. It was agreed before for the barrier you fuckin idiots... you complain, no fucking respect. Peace no violence? More like self righteous pricks not worthy of a free performance.

Prodigy please come back to the UK !!! WE LOVE YOU, Brixton is a fucking pile of shit without you

Lets face it these Woodstock arse lickers would be singing a completely different tune had the barriers not been put in place and had a tragedy happened! It would have been the bands fault that a tragedy happened and the cries from the people bitching about these barriers being in place would have been, why was there no barriers? If you dont like the fact they had your safety in mind and you fail to remember that your organizer agreed to have them in place and signed a contract with the bands management then do one and dont bother darking this forum or a Prodigy gig ever again. Fuck off and bop around to the repetitive teeny bopper beats of Pendulum.

Damm right come back to Brixton Its been far to long boys!
