No respect to Linkin Park, even Slipknot, Limp Bizkit or Rob Zombie are much better than this pop-metal band. ;/

Yep, to be fair I would want some respect for having the cheek to ask Helena Christensen to come to the work Xmas party with me.

Is this not a woman that makes you just want to fall to your knees and thank GOD you're a man?

By GOD of course I mean natural selection and genetics, as god doesn't exist, idiot.

"Even"? Seen a show? I think a Prodge/Slipknot tour or one-shot gig would be awsome. Or even just Corey the mad genious on stage (or studio perhaps? ) with em. Wudnt happen anytime soon tho =/ Then again, The Prodigy went on before Slipknot at Rock-am-Ring last year, so I guess you could say it´s already happened n_n

By all means. But I still think Linkin Park is boring, both on album and on stage...

I've gotta say, love(d) slipknot, but not fond of their lives...the vocals are brutal!

I tried to get floor tickets to the Los Angeles show today, but I guess they are already sold out. Gonna wait a few days, hopefully some more pop up...

i may not be a long time board member, but i am a very long time fan of the prodigy and this is one of the worst decisions by the prodigy of all time. i can understand how the prodigy may want to gain a wider audience... i mean many friends i know don't even realize that the prodigy has released anything new in the last five years... and the sad thing is that my friends aren't living under a rock... they live in California and still don't know. the prodigy has had a horrible time trying to gain recognition here in america and they need to find some new ways to advertise there presence. their new music is slamming and right on par with some of their best, but no one here has heard it. only DJs and music junkies barely know of Invaders Must Die etc... The Prodigy needs to expand their market and reconnect with old fans that think that Fat of the Land was their last album. The way to do this is not by tacking on to some horrid throw back band like Linkin Park. most people who i know who love the prodigy hate linkin park. in fact, most people that i know hate linkin park. The prodigy should have joined another youthful, genre bending group and both of them could benefit by teaming up. linkin park only benefits here since only hardcore prodigy fans will go to the show... and i'm not even certain about that since prodigy fans i know don't want to give a dime to linkin park.

oh. and you want ideas for groups that they should maybe team up with?

pendulum is touring, why not them?
soulwax would be awesome
sub focus would work
chemical brothers would be an awesome old school duo
MSTRKRFT may work
klaxons could work
!!!?
major lazer would effin rock
meat beats manifesto is touring
what about bassnectar or the flying skulls or skream or justice or bloody beetroots or crookers or...

$hit. anyone but shi††y ass linkin park. you just can't mix white rappers with rock... that's why the beastie boys gave up punk and 311 isn't around anymore (oh wait. they are, but no one listens to them). case and point.

i'm just saying... they better tour again in the US and soon. this tour is a JOKE!

Regardless of Linkin Park I am dying to see The Prodigy live. I am a long time fan and this will be the first time I am able to see them. I am flying to Vegas from the UK just to see them, I booked the tickets while I was in Afghan and it is the one thing I am looking forward to and have been looking forward to.

I really hope that illness or otherwise does not stop The Prodigy playing in Vegas on the 19th. I have never seen them live, due to work commitments I missed them at the Milton Keynes bowl and several other performances.

I'd even prepare the stage myself if needs be, I'll be there from the 16th so I'll have the time.

I will respectfully disagree with all the bashing of Linkin Park. Regardless of your personal position on LP, the facts are there is mutual admiration between the two acts hence why they are touring together albeit a short while. Way before this particular united venture, LP has quoted The Prodigy as one of the acts that they love and gained inspiration from. It must be exciting for them to finally get to tour with them. And it would be quite silly to not assume that The Prodigy signed on this gig because they wanted too and not just solely to promote themselves to a larger audience. Like has been mentioned, they can easily do it with any other act. But they wanted to tour with LP too.

I have never seen The Prodigy live as i live in the U.S and only recently, started going to concerts. But i have been a casual listener of their music and like their style. I never truly become a fan of a band until i see them live where the magic happens and a connection between us is formed. I was excited to hear that LP was brining The Prodigy with them out on this tour. I personally thought that out of the 3 acts LP had opening for them(i got to see all 3), The Prodigy and Linkin Park fit and complemented each other the most. I am a huge fan of mixed genres and admire those artists who can do it well.

I have been a huge fan of Linkin Park and even more so now with the release of their latest album so it was a no brainer deciding to go see this tour. My roommate is familiar with The Prodigy without knowing who they were as in she only knows of their music. She came out with me to the tour to see LP and discovered that The Prodigy was the band who played a lot of her favourite songs so i discovered we had even more than LP in common. And i met a lot of fans at the show who were both fans of The Prodigy and LP. Naturally, fanbases blend with each other. There are no purists. Just like people's taste in music are diverse, so is the fanbase. You will find many who like The Prodigy and dislike LP just like you will find many people who like LP and dislike The Prodigy or loves the both of them. Nothing new there. A very common trait with anything.

I attended both the San Diego show and the Los Angeles one. I was very impressed and taken immediately with The Prodigy and made that connection that elevated from just a band i listen to into a band i want to invest in and follow and even join a forum. They know how to put on a show. And the reception they got was actually the more on the positive side than i usually see for opening acts. The crowd for both shows seemed to love them. I enjoyed them immensely and wouldn't mind going out to see them on their own tour.

I think there was a lot of people who were there just for LP that were won over which is a positive and a pleasure to witness. One of my friends actually fell into this category and it made smile. That is the power of live music and a solid act.
