Like i said in my earlier post, take them with a pinch of salt! Everyones entittled to their opinion but its a bit of fun at the end of the day and what there seems to be lacking in the world these days is fun! Chill

Ah I have no problem with the tribute act that this thread was about, if the crowd's up for it then why not? But the other act that evans just linked to....jesus!

The thing I don't like about this cover band is that they're not special nor original at all. They're just pretending to be The Prodigy. Cover bands like The Australian Pink Floyd Show are special because Pink Floyd doesn't exist any more. The Prodigy have been touring for two and a half years now and - in my opinion - we don't need an act which is exactly the same. There is nothing wrong with a cover band but give it your own twist.

On the other hand, like Wayne said, a night full of Prodigy tracks is always good.

You know absolutely NOTHING, they are not pretending to prodigy at all and if you actually bothered to go see them or talk to them you would know what their about, they do this for the love of the prodigy and also do a lot of their own material which they play live actually so before you go slagging them off get your facts right coz you talk shit, most people on here probably aint even seen the real prodigy live, just jumped up little dick's who got nothin else better to talk about. Jilted are a bunch of talented lads and their all brilliant people so for anybody to just say such things about them is a joke, call yourself prodigy fans, prodigy don't need fans like you!!!

Well I didn't know about their own stuff. Didn't see it on YouTube either, so guess that's my fault then. I don't like the stuff I've seen so far. But thanks for correcting me. If you have some of their own stuff please let me know..

Bit harsh methinks, you've got to remember that there are a few youngsters on here that haven't had the chance to go even though they would love to (real gigs or the tribute act). I myself wasn't allowed to go until '95 when I was 15. Prodigy fans are passionate, don't diss them for it, it's the reason that all other live acts pale in comparison. The crowd feeds the band, and the band take it and throw it back into the crowd like a vicious, relentless, chaotic circle. It's the rhythm of life goddamit!

Oh, and even if you are a friend of the band, coming on here and making your first post a barrage of abuse at forum members is not really the nicest of things to do. Just my tuppence worth.

Excuse me, yes i am very much a friend of the band and don't like reading vile things written about them, some of the stuff some members have put on here is disgusting, saying their gonna throw piss at them and trash their stuff, i mean who the hell are these people and who do they think they are, and what the hell is their problem??????????
These guys have worked hard for years and don't deserve to be put down like that, if they don't like them fair enough but don't go saying stuff like that about people you don't even know and havn't even given a chance too, makes my blood boil!!!
I am a very passionate fan of the prodigy and know that they respect what jilted do, and that means a lot to them and to the people that support them..........just my tuppence worth!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Trying to be" or "replace", same thing in this instance. Either way it's not what they're doing.

Don't like the idea ? fine, don't pay to see them.

Calling them nasty names is a bit pathetic though, don't you think ?

Well put kevo!!

I never said things like throwing piss at them or whatever. If they want to do this I would be the last one to say nasty things about them personally. I just said how I felt about the act, which wasn't offensive towards the band either imo. At some points Prodgequeen proofed me wrong like them not being originally, I didn't know they made their own tunes as well. So I was a bit prejudiced. But makes me that a less Prodigy fan? Nah. We're all in the same league here.
