Maxim seems to have got lazy in his mc'ing too, there's a lot less of him really rousing the crowd into a frenzy

have always wondered why he doesn't properly do Diesel Power live, seriously now enough with the samples, he has made two cds and he can't rap on stage ?

I think its because kool keith did diesel power. But i agree that maxim could use some of the sparetime while liam is sorting out a new record to practice his mc'ing.

i think they were under time constraints alright....they left out new tracks like Unstoppable and Beat55...and didnt bother with an encore....
You have to remember that Maxim classes himself as a performer now and not an MC...he kinda drop'd that a good few years ago...but yeah I do agree that he wasnt his usual self with hyping the crowd...but still the gig was brilliant....also...Maxim doesnt rap to Diesel Power because its Kool Keith who raps on the record....but i can vouch that if he wanted to he would be able to no problem...has anyone heard Maxim rap freestyle?? He's brilliant at that..rapping wouldnt be a problem to him

i'm just glad they're rocking the stages... even though they're 40 now

maxim may be a little lazy with his mcing but still they give away a helluva show keith's really on shape and vibing off the stage

i think maxim's screams sound a bit fake and put-on nowadays...but i'd still lick him all over.

i don't know what world everyone else is living in..but i thought he was as much of a wind up as ever.
"if you're sitting eating chips....or a hamburger...you're in the wrong fuckin place"
I mean how long would you be able to rock those songs over and over and over again?

the problem is there are too many tunes in the set that are there for over a decade. Thire Law..Firestarter...breathe...smbu.
good tunes but i wish they'd fuck off for a while.
and come with a whole new set.
then you'd see maxim's mcing come back to life.

plus the sound was perfect.
1. open air music is always hit or miss. Google "wind blowing"
2. it does not have to deafen you to be loud enough.

by the way Mr.Colostomy
aphex was mental

there were 2 big screens on either side of the Pet Sounds stage...and there was allsorts ranging from spread eagled naked women...to animated japanese lookin stuff on there as he was playing.
the first half hour was unholy breakbeaty rotten stuff (like fenix funk 5..my favourite)
but then he drifted off into dnb which lost a bit of interest from me...so i moved back and did the one-hand-dance
He didn't play anything recognisable...not windowlicker...come to daddy..on...nothing.
I really liked that about his set.

he now looks like gary oldman in Leon

Cool Tomás...I agree with you with the sound at the Prodigy gig...it was brilliant...and also I agree with you that Their Law and Breathe and some others are in the set since 1995 and have been their way too long.... and more new stuff should be put in instead..like Liam used to always keep the set really fresh back in the mid nineties....he would always be changing the set every year....I wish he would get back to that
