Well I do hope to listen to some new stuff from the upcoming new album at the "Athens Rockwave Festival 2012" gig, 2-7-2012... Prodigy, your loyal Greek Warriors are waiting as hell for your arrival!!!

From '09 they did many gigs, made some new alternative versions of some tracks, but why they don't play anything new, not counting AWOL?

Let's say they want to release the album in December. It has to be finished three months earlier at least (remember they wanted to release Invaders Must Die in late 2008 but the marketing pushed it till next year.) So basically they have 4-5 months time to work on the tunes AND also do multiple festivals and gigs. After the summer they might want to do changes based on how the new tracks work live and then there's not much time. So I'm not very confident on a release this year.

If they are really fast it could happen. But don't want a rushed record.

But then again, it's Liam. He always takes his time.

Yeah I feel we will get Spring 2013 release before the summer festivals come along and they can properly promote it. But I do think like IMD, we'll get a little taste around the New Year and Liam will throw us a track.
I think he's still finding that key track that sets the rest of the album in motion. I'm sure he has plenty of ideas, but these upcoming live shows will help him get them all in the right place. These upcoming shows should be exciting because you might get to hear something from the new album or something may never make the release and heard again since it's a time for experimentation, kinda like pre-AONO.

I hope Duggers is around to capture some of the magic on the upcoming shows

I would really love a good behind the scenes look at making the album.

I'm actually going to be seeing them for the third time on May 26th, so I'm proper excited about hearing new stuff. Last two gigs I attended were pretty much the basic setlist they've been playing, so no real surprises. Maybe this time even something new

Liam talking like new songs are going to be played as a maybe is kind of opposite to what the band said when they announced that they'll be headlining Download,

"we have chosen to headline download festival as our only uk festival show next year and will be playin some new songs for the first time from our next album due later 2012 ........ see you there Liam, Keef & Maxim"
