hi just quick one if your book is damaged and you send it back surely you will not get the same number . Dont they come out from printing as number 1 meaning its the first print from the printer and so on. So that will mean there is double copies with the same numbers. Would they destroy the damaged books you sent back or will you see them on a auction web site in years to come.Even so its not the original one you have ordered could they fix them up like new . WHICH ONE OF THEM WOULD BE THE ORIGINAL THE DAMAGED ONE OR THE NEW ONE YOU HAVE HAD REPLACED, I WOULD WANT TO MAKE THAT CALL

He-he, I'm such a wind-up merchant. But come on £250 and they haven't even all sold yet! Plus the guy is charging £25 postage for Europe, £40 for US and £50 for Australia.
I think my offer is perfectly reasonable, I'll keep you updated if he accepts

Stuff like that is always on Ebay mate. If you look it's just an electroplated vinyl with the IMD CD stuck on it.

Have they been true to their word and only people who ordered on or before 31st Dec elligible, i.e. have all the envelopes been sent out? I was going to buy a book as I can get 10% off with the ticket voucher code, but to be honest hearing about all the damaged ones has put me off really.

not sure but have no reason to think it's not the case. Not sure if all have been sent out but no way of telling unless everyone who has won says so on this forum.

My guess is they've all gone out.

Think the vast majority aren't damaged. Remember we only really hear about the ones that are.

True, but I reckon it's only a small number of people who ordered it that are on here. I may regret it one day, but I'm going to give the book a miss. Too expensive for a picture book really and as cool as it is that the guys signed it, they wouldn't have signed it "to me." I'll wait, I've got to meet them one day surely

I wouldn't mind buying one of the damaged books for half price and free shipping. Up for that digital store??

You probably will regret it Wayne, the book can only go up in price, if you buy a mint one. (Seeing there are only 300 left)

To be fair the value going up is of no interest to me, I'm not one of those people who see it as an "investment." I buy my Prodigy stuff to keep. If i got it it would be looked at a couple of times and then sit on a shelf gathering dust as an impulsive luxury that serves no purpose and was overpriced in the first place. As for rare Prodigy items, I think my Jilted face, Against The Grain (CD & vinyl), Fresh Packed Cuts etc are far more desirable as they are far rarer, aren't items that anyone could simply buy from a shop and actually serve a purpose. Nah, you guys enjoy it and I hope you do, but for me it kinda sums up what has been a year of leaving behind the Prodigy being about music and them turning their hand at lots of extremely expensive projects that your average fan couldn't care less about, wheras collectors with lots of money will relish. I'm not a collector, although there are only a couple of people on here who could outmatch my musical collection. If Liam wasn't still writing good tracks and the live shows were so good, I wouldn't even bother with them anymore. The Prodigy of now is nothing like the Prodigy I got into all those years ago. I can listen to all my Prodigy music anytime I like in any format, the posters and Jilted face make great pieces for my room, it all serves a purpose. An overpriced book of little pictures of the boys for £100 is ridiculous and serves no purpose to me. Sorry to be negative, but that's just my views on this book and the limited prints etc. There was a time Prodigy was about the music, everything was in peoples price ranges. Now, it all just seems about getting more and more money. An unknown artist could have done art prints infinitely better than the stuff out now. I'm going to put the £100 towards a pair of £500 speakers to appreciate their (and others) music even more. That's my way of being a fan and I don't think that Liam & Co can say that they haven't got their moneys worth out of me over the last 19 years.

Fair dos. Don't think it's pointless ( Admittedly I am biased) as it serves as document of the time.

Fully appreciate it's not suited to everyone's tastes. People splash their cash on all kinds of stuff that I don't get, like their cars. Fundamentally down to what floats your boat. I spend a lot of money on both music and art books so I get the appeal.

Have to say, I agree with the investment point. Buy it because you'll derive enjoyment from it not because you might flog it. The fact that it will keep it's value or increase should only ever be a happy bonus.
