Going a bit off topic, but I was almost one year old when Jilted was released... And that means that I wasn't even born when Experience got released. But that's not a big deal. Most of the fuckin' Iron Maiden fans are like 13 years old, their parents were in the fuckin' high school or something when Powerslave was released, and people won't brag about it.

Born in April 1992, I regret not being in the 90's raves and miss that culture. This does not prevent me from listening to the hardcore 88-92's music. Even I'd like to go to an oldschool party or to Marc's Archer set and dance with the older people. But I live in Paris and Marc has never come here. (in 2000's)
*Cherche for the oldschools parties. and not the shit parties called "rave" where you can hear David Guetta's shit.

Most are 13?!? You're way off the mark there, go to any Maiden gig and you'll see there's more older folk there than young.
I'm 36 and have loved Maiden since the 1st and best (imo) album, always have (well almost, they went shit for while).

Well said, quite same here. I was born in April 1993 (some time after Wind It Up was released -> Wikipedia ) and my parents are exactly the same age as Liam, Keith, Maxim and Leeroy. Funny thing is, my uncle was a fan of The Prodigy back in 1994 when No Good was released, but never went to a gig (don't know if they visited Switzerland as often as today then). And he first saw them in 2009...

Uh, even if the topic's pretty old, I can't stand this YouTube behavior either, and I always thought the lifestyle of the 90's rave generation was all about just having fun and respect each other.
I'd loved to be in the rave scene back then too, but it's just impossible, so what. Maybe they think all people of my age just wanna see The Prodigy to mosh around and feel hardcore... Isn't that absurd though, because there's really a lot of idiots like that.

But that's YouTube. Every idiot is able to write his nonsense and blame other people anonymously, so usually I don't even look at the comments.

I've never had a problem with the younger crowd getting into Prodigy, that would be a bit stupid. If anything over the last 19 years I have tried to make as many people see the genius of Liam Howlett, regardless of age. What did piss me off when I came on here was the number of kids telling me I didn't know what I was talking about as I didn't like FS, Breathe etc and preferred Leeroy to Keith. As I pointed out, unless they had been into the band as long as I had then what they had to say didn't matter to me, as they were only able to talk in retrospect. They couldn't comment on the changes of the band throughout the years as they were not around then. None of them understood what I meant so I got the usual, oh you think you're better and a better fan, but I wasn't born yet so blah, blah, blah. Bless 'em. What they failed to get was that when I commented I was talking about things such as the dissapointment of waiting so long for a new single after Jilted, and then hearing Keith singing over the track. Yet I was wrong and they were right even though they just heard FS on Top Of The Pops and had never heard of the Prodigy before. I consider myself very lucky that even though I was too young to go to the early raves, I still knew who the Prodigy were and was able to follow them form the beginning. The joy of being 14 when Jilted was released, then being able to see them live for the first time in '95 (the first time I was actually allowed to go, believe me I had begged and pleaded a long time before that). I have no beef with the younger lot, they keep the vibe alive as so many of my generation stopped liking the Prodigy when FS and FOTL was released. The fact is some of the younger lot have no repect for the people who actually where there at the the time in the early days. I think that's why you may find a lot of negativity directed at them from the older generation. That's just my 2 pennies worth anyway. So listen up youngsters as I will always be right and always be better!

speaking as a 27 yr old, I don't give a monkeys.
so long as people get it, whats the problem?

I thought it was lame when people wrote prodigy off during AONO era then hopped back on for Invaders Must Die but people on the whole are dipshits, so I gave up long ago judging their tastes.
