Don't you think that it's the rule of our world?
It was 19 years ago,The prodigy was a new band, young men who were writing their songs in a bedroom...
Young guns, with all the life in front of them...
We have to admit it like them, now they're 40,they have created their own legend...and unfortunatly, they know that in a few years, they will not be able to perform on stage like they do now...
So what's the solution?
Make money with their name!!!
And for me it's no problems with it...I can understand it.
So they can sell T-shirts,condoms,sun glasses, dirty socks,...it doesnt matter to me!
Everyones buy what he want, what's the problem with it?
Times have changed, but when I hear the last album, when I see them on stage,I can see the passion is still the same.
It's the only thing that interessed me
at last a bit of sense Tom, fair play. The Prodigy are what they are today because they have some of the most die hard fans around. Personally, I want to see them rewarded for all the good music and happy times they've supplied us with over the last two decades. I don't want to see Howlett and co. turn up on antiques roadshow in 20 years trying to flog off stuff to survive. They've put a few shitty and gimmicky items up for sale in the Prodigy shop. So fucking what. If people are willing to buy them then they will. So far I haven't anyone from Prodigys management knock on my door with a baseball bat and force me to give them my credit card details. It's down to free will chaps. And by the way, anyone who doesn't get the genius in an 'Invaders Must Die' condom must be a little slow off the mark. Overpriced - Possibly. Genius Marketing -Definitely.
