Well the song 'Charly' for me has a deeply profound meaning.

I believe that it is about consulting one's mother about one's whereabouts prior to leaving the house. Otherwise you will be faced with, not only the wrath of a demonic looking cat, with an abnormally loose head and a penchant for deepthroating fish leaving just the bones behind, but also the worrying possibility that a stranger may offer you:

a) A lift
b) Some sweets
c) To look at the puppies in his attic

And all this whilst having to negotiate crossing that busy road.

they've explained hundreds of times that lyrics just add energy/another level to the track not having to mean anything. i think the only tracks having a lyrical or an extra meaning beside the energy and the beats are a few IMD tracks - Invaders Must Die, Piranha and Take Me To The Hospital; Their Law and The Narcotic Suite; Firestarter; and Wake Up Call.

Hmm...about this Invaders Must Die thing:

I recently watched a skateboarding movie called Lords of Dogtown, and I also watched the special materials of it. There were shot of some surfing docks and there was written on the wall: "Invaders Must Die". Then, there was also a logo, kind of pirate skull with crossed bones and the text "death to invaders". I remember seeing that logo on this sites background or something, before the looks of the site was changed. The movie is from 2005 I think, so I just found those things interesting.

Jesus, if "Smack My Bitch Up" meant literally that, I believe the lady Prodigy fans would revolt.

But to the uneducated Prodigy fan, a casual hearing of the tune blasting (from wherever) probably still turns heads.
