nice one
thanks for posting this Paolocar
one thing still bothers me though.
the interview claims there was a criticism from the fans because it left out keith and maxim on vocals.
He/she should remember that the first 2 albums did not have either of the lads on vocals(despite a tiny sample from maxim on poison) and no one complained back then.
personally..i think aono had its flaws.
but leaving keith and maxim out was not necessarily a problem for me.
There are lots of prodigy tunes I love that are also "solo" tunes
Whilst I agree with you, there's no denying that all I ever hear is people
going on about AONO how it didn't have the other two members on the tracks.
That... along with them saying that tracks sound unfinished.
I really believe the whole idea of that album flew right over
most people's heads. AONO was an album created that goes right
back to the music - and not relying on the success through the other
two front showmen. It was a re-invented sound, which purpose
was to have a high enery in each track.
Wake Up Call or even Spitfire are prime examples.
Great tracks with HUGE energy,
without relying on a whole load of cockney lyrics.
I think it's sad that a lot of fans just didn't get it,
based on the success of other previous hits.
Amazing album in my opinion.
The rave days were rightfully over.
Too many fans and journo's living in the past.
