Arie..where did the WEL sample come from if not The Shadow??

Coldcut sampled The Shadow in their track Hot Plate, that's where Liam Howlett sampled it from himself.

I had all forgotten about the full vocal version of Wake Up Call. God damn it... now is his chance to carry his promise into effect by puttin it onto a future release, a single for example.

here is the track that uses the same sample liam used in Charly.
Funny to hear it in a different style

i thought it is a suzanne vega..but it might not be strictly her version.
I'm not sure where i got it from
it's a strange take on Lou Reed's Walk On The Wild Side

It's defenitely "allah", whether you like it or not
Pitch my allah up *cough*

I cannot agree !! I clearly hear "one" at the beginning of your "allaah" so i have no doubt that there is " one looo-oooo-ve " !!

Good find mate, good find
It's indeed a very different style, but it works well.

I have just taken the first few seconds of One Love (Edit) and turned down the pitch quite a bit afterwhich you can hear "oewahhhlaaaaaaahhhhh".

Like I wrote before, the original sample does in fact say "allah", there is no discussion possible about it, but Liam Howlett of course didn't name the track One Love if the vocal didn't sound somewhat like "one love"
